Dr. Teague graduated from Floydada High School in 1962, from West Texas State University with a B. S. degree in 1967, and from Baylor University College of Dentistry in 1971.
Upon graduation from Baylor, Dr. Teague was in private practice in Duncanville for 15 years, with a satellite practice in Midlothian. Later he also had practices in Fredericksburg, Mason, and Carrollton. He was semi-retired and practiced with Dr. Stuart Nunnally in Marble Falls beginning in 1994, also serving as a consultant in a management role. Dr. Teague completely retired from private practice in September 2008.
Through his dental career, he has attended numerous continuing education courses, with an emphasis on management. He served as a consultant for other dentists through a prominent national seminar company. Dr. Teague brings extensive experience in managing, growing, buying selling, and transitioning dental practices. He has gained valuable experience in managing associates and staff members through practice transitions.
He has been a member of several service organizations, bank board of directors, and trustee for the Duncanville Independent School District. He is a current member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association and a past president of the Hill Country Dental Society. He was given the Life Membership Award to the Texas Dental Association in 2008.
Dr. Teague and his high school sweetheart Sara have been married since 1962 and have three children and nine grandchildren. They currently live in Horseshoe Bay and enjoy traveling, fishing and golf.
